Lisa was born in England and moved to Canada with her family when she was seven. She grew up in Scarborough, Ontario and also lived in Toronto and Brampton before moving to Guelph where she currently resides with her husband of over 20 years and their teenage daughter. She has a B.A. in Environment and Resource Management from the University of Toronto, a Business Management Certificate from George Brown College, and has earned both the Toastmasters Competent Communicator and Leadership awards.
